The intent was to create a modern backpacking boot.  The solution was an improved platform and rugged upper details.  Terra Force stitchdown construction with custom bi-fit board tunes the support vs. flexibility.  The nubuck upper is backed by a Gore-Tex waterproof membrane.  The supportive 3D-molded external heel counter is complemented by a matching toe overlay.  Custom cast metal eyelets evenly distribute lace pressure.
